Children under 5 stay free if sharing your bed - there’s only a small charge for their meals. Children over 5 will need their own bed. The Blue Suite’s bunk bed is usually the highlight - adults have been known to try it too.

We’re unable to host pets because we have our own rescue dogs living on the estate - lovely with humans, but can get a bit too enthusiastic around other animals.

Smoking is allowed only in outdoor areas. The wooden house is not a fan of smoke. Ashtrays are available on the verandah, where the view makes for a pleasant break.

All rooms have room heaters and under-sheet bed warmers, so you stay perfectly cozy. Getting out of that warm bed in the morning is usually the hardest part. All bathrooms have geysers for hot water, and the sitting room is warmed by a wood-burning stove in the evenings.

Yes, we have multiple high speed Wi-Fi routers set up across the house. The Yellow Room even has its own dedicated router, because writers and remote workers have needs.
